Terms of Service

What we offer

The services are the ones described on this site: the monthly plans (The Foundation, The Engine, and The Machine) and custom work in The Shop (The Tune-Up and The Custom Rig). What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page. For custom work, what is included is whatever the written quote says.

Monthly plans

• Plans bill monthly, in advance. There are no setup fees.
• There is no contract term. You can cancel anytime by emailing contact@kailabsai.com.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for. Service runs through that date, and you are not billed again.
• If a payment fails, we'll reach out. Systems we run for you may be paused until the account is current.
• If a plan's price changes, we'll tell you before it applies to your next bill.

Custom work

• Custom work is scoped and priced in writing before any work starts.
• The timeline is set with the quote.
• If you want something added or changed after the quote is approved, we price the change and you approve it before it gets built.
• When the work is paid for and handed over, it's yours.

If you cancel

• Your reviews stay yours. They live on your Google Business Profile, which you own.
• Custom-built site files get handed over to you.
• The systems we run for you shut off at the end of your paid month. That includes lead response, missed call text back, review requests, call coverage, campaigns, and reporting.

Your part

• Give us accurate information and the access we need, such as manager access to your Google Business Profile.
• Only send us content (logos, photos, text) you have the right to use.
• When a system sends texts or emails to your customers on your behalf, you're responsible for having their permission to contact them.

Results vary

We describe what the systems do. How much business they bring in depends on your market, your pricing, your work, and plenty that is outside anyone's control. Nothing on this site or in a quote is a promise of a specific number of leads, calls, reviews, search rankings, or dollars.

Tools we build on

The systems run on outside services, including Google, phone carriers, and software providers. When one of them has an outage or changes its rules, we'll work around it as fast as we can, but we can't control it.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Kai Labs is not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Changes that affect an active plan get emailed to you before they apply.
